Clothing collection design & development services
A first collection you can develop and make.
Turn references and product ideas into a connected collection. We work through the designs, materials, making instructions and samples so you can make informed production decisions.
For founders worldwide

Your starting point
Where this helps.
For founders developing their first clothing collection, or bringing an existing range that needs design, fit or sampling work before production.
Bring what you have.
- The customer, occasion and intended retail position.
- References, sketches, sample garments or an existing collection plan.
- Known constraints on materials, sizes, spending or launch timing.
Open questions are welcome. The first conversation is free; we agree the work and fees before starting.
The work and the handover
What you receive.
The proposal names the styles, development work, sample reviews and files included. Materials, physical samples, testing and bulk production have their own costs and approvals. Ownership and handover terms are recorded before work starts.
Collection & sampling
The designs, materials and samples that make the collection real.
- Collection design and fabric choices
- Technical packs (drawings and making instructions) and patterns
- Fit, sizing and sampling
- Costing and production approval
The handoverDesigns with costs, making instructions and approved samples.
From brief to approval
How the work moves forward.
Each review gives the next stage a clear starting point. We keep the decisions and approved versions together so everyone works from the same brief.
Plan the range
Give each style a job and review colours, sizes and materials across the collection. Identify what can be shared and what needs separate development.
Develop the designs
Resolve shape, construction, fabric and trims against the intended use and price. Translate the chosen designs into technical packs and patterns within the agreed scope.
Review samples and fit
Use identified sample versions and consolidated comments to check appearance, movement, measurements and construction. Agree what needs changing and what is approved.
Prepare the production decision
Bring the approved sample, specifications, quantities, costs and outstanding checks together before authorising production.

@Ease / A Studio concept
See a collection take shape.
Follow the role of three proposed garments, then see how a sample comment becomes a specific next action.
- Give each style a role in the collection.
- Connect colours and materials before developing the samples.
Before we begin
Your questions, answered.
Do I need sketches or a tech pack before contacting you?
No. References and an explanation of what the clothes need to do can be a starting point. If you already have designs or a tech pack, we review them and agree the remaining work.
Can you develop different clothing categories?
Yes. Studio works across clothing categories. Materials, construction, fit and testing needs determine the development plan for each collection.
What will I receive?
Your scope identifies the collection plan, designs, technical packs, patterns, sample reviews and approved references included in the engagement. It also records which files are handed over, when, and under what ownership and usage terms.
Does collection development include a production order?
Development prepares the product for a production decision. A bulk order is a separate commitment with its own quantities, quotation and approval. Minimums are set per style and confirmed at enquiry.
Useful preparation.
